Micro/nano Multiphysical Dynamics Lab

Welcome to MNMDL! Our lab is interested in various multi-physical dynamics problems at micro/nanoscales. We experimentally and theoretically study linear and nonlinear dynamics of micro/nano-mechanical resonators for various MEMS applications in sensing and energy harvesting. We also try to advance the current state-of-art AFM (atomic force microscopy) based on our better understanding about the dynamics of AFM micro-cantilevers. Based on our advanced capabilities of AFM, we are collaborating with many other researchers in the field of bio-mechanics, environmental science, and material science to reveal important physics underlying the nano- and bio-materials.
